Who am I?

Francis Hooper is a Vancouver-based producer, sound engineer, and studio owner with over 15 years of experience in music and audio. A graduate of the Art Institute of Vancouver’s Professional Recording Arts program in 2009, where he earned a place on the Dean’s Honor Roll, Francis began his career as a teenager working at his uncle’s recording studio. In 2010, he was awarded the prestigious CARAS Fred Sheratt Award for “Outstanding Achievement in Music & Sound Sciences.” Alongside his work in music, Francis has spent more than a decade at Bardel Entertainment, contributing to acclaimed television shows including Rick and Morty, HarmonQuest, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Bob’s Burgers. As a producer and artist, he fronted the project Goodwood Atoms, later signed to a French label and publisher in Brussels. He has collaborated with respected producers such as Nygel Asselin, David Vertesi, Shawn Cole, and Jon Anderson. Toured in Europe, co-fronted his latest band Doohickey Cubicle with his life partner Alli Deleo. Below are some recent selections of featured Producing/Mixing/Mastering work.
